We pour it all out there.

We're not just consultants. We're catalysts for change.

  • Building pathways for women and marginalized communities to thrive, ensuring their voices are heard and talents recognized.

  • Ensuring diverse voices are present and influential at every level, from brand ownership to the boardroom.

  • Creating fair and accessible opportunities for mentorship, funding, and business development to level the playing field.

  • Challenging the status quo in an industry that has too often ignored the potential of underrepresented groups.

Our expertise ranges from forging powerful brand partnerships and curating community-driven events to providing strategic guidance on diversity, equity, and inclusion. We believe that purpose and progress go hand in hand, and we’re committed to ensuring that every pour creates ripples of positive change. Together, we’re breaking down barriers and building a more inclusive, equitable, and vibrant space in hospitality and beverages, where diverse voices are not only heard but celebrated.

Our story began when founders Ash Eliot and Lindsay Malu Kido joined forces through a shared passion for social justice within the beer and beverage industry. With a combined herstory of advocacy, nonprofit work, and industry leadership, they set out to create a consultancy that champions diversity, equity, and inclusion while driving lasting change.

Pouring On Purpose is a dynamic consultancy that empowers companies and brands to create equitable, inclusive spaces while elevating underrepresented voices—women, nonbinary, and LGBTQ+— across the beverage and hospitality industry.

Lindsay Malu Kido (she/they) is a mixed-Indigenous, Brown, queer advocate, social entrepreneur, and founder of multiple businesses, including Beer is for Everyone (BIFE), a nonprofit dedicated to advancing diversity, inclusion, and justice in the craft beer industry. Since its founding in 2020, BIFE has grown from a small team to over 20 contributors, amplifying marginalized voices and producing impactful content on topics like decolonization and social accountability. Lindsay also leads Craft Beer Girls, the world’s largest network for women in craft beer, fostering a supportive community within the industry. In 2022, Lindsay spearheaded initiatives such as fundraising for Ukraine and reproductive healthcare. Balancing a professional poker career and a PhD in Indigenous Education, Lindsay is a passionate leader recognized as one of Wine Enthusiast’s Future 40, the VinePair 50, and Good Beer Hunting’s Signifiers.

Ash Eliot (she/her) is a communications and social impact specialist who founded Women of the Bevolution (WOTB), an advocacy platform dedicated to empowering women and non-binary professionals in the beer and beverage industry. She launched initiatives the Bevolution Brave Voices Relief Fund and the Bevolution Creators in Bev Grant Program, providing financial aid and mentorship to staff and creators navigating industry challenges. Ash also co-founded Brave Noise, a global beer collaboration that advocates for safe, inclusive workplaces in the brewing industry, as well as the AntiSexist AntiRacist ProEquality Beer Club Merch Fundraiser. With over 15 years across music, nonprofit, and hospitality sectors, she has driven efforts that raised over $1 million for nonprofits and grassroots organizations. Ash has been recognized by Good Beer Hunting’s Signifiers, Vinepair’s Next Wave, and Imbibe’s 75 People to Watch.
